Kristīnes Kliginas izstāde “Jūras piezīmes” is an art exhibition in Sigulda, at Siguldas Jaunā pils, on 17 September 2026. The exhibition is open from 18 September to 8 November, and its visit is included in the palace admission ticket. The display brings together a series of small-format paintings created through extended observation of the same seascape. Light, colour, water, sky and atmosphere change from one work to the next, recording a particular moment. Over the course of the exhibition, precise observation gradually becomes expressive and intuitive painting. The sea is presented not only as a landscape motif, but also as a measure of time and perception. The exhibition focuses on the act of looking and on the relationship between the familiar and the unpredictable.
