KORĪGA, NŌNA: Gaisma is a concert programme in Ikšķile and Riga from 5 to 6 December 2026, taking place at several venues. Project choir Korīga, conductor Laura Jēkabsone and professional string quartet NŌNA explore musical reflections on light, moving from the English Renaissance to contemporary composition. The programme includes several premieres, including Laura Jēkabsone’s “Winter Light” and “Lumen de lumine”, as well as Dace Mangulsone’s “Gaisma”. Works by Thomas Tallis, James MacMillan and Jake Runestad are also included. On 5 December, the concert takes place at Ikšķile St Meinard Evangelical Lutheran Church; on 6 December, at Riga Jesus Evangelical Lutheran Church.
