The concert performance “Rīgas Sargi” is a musical and visual journey through key moments in Latvian history, taking place at Rīgas Kongresu nams in Riga on 11 November 2026. Inspired by the legendary film about Latvia’s struggles for freedom and statehood, the event combines Latvian riflemen’s songs and works by contemporary Latvian composers with historic testimonies and personal stories. Audiences will experience a multimedia show featuring live orchestra music, soloists, video projections, and documentary stories centered on Latvia’s War of Independence. The programme includes pieces such as "Pulcējieties, latvju dēli", "Uz priekšu, latvieši!", hip hop and early 20th-century melodies. The production features the Riga School Students' Palace Chamber Orchestra, soloists, and choreographer Evita Tūna. Script and direction by Dace Micāne Zālīte, video by Valdis Krūmiņš.
