KINO /KARSTAIS RAIDLAIKS/ is a thriller, drama, detective and biographical film in Cēsis at Koncertzāle CĒSIS from 29 September to 6 October 2026. The film follows Chris Hansen, host of “To Catch a Predator”, who is determined to write his name into television history. As the innovative NBC series pushes the boundaries of investigative journalism and reality television, the people behind the cameras must confront the moral cost of turning high-risk criminal apprehension operations into prime-time television designed to attract viewers. The film is in English with Latvian and Russian subtitles. Recommended for ages 16 and over; running time is 1 hour 50 minutes. Directed by Lance Oppenheim, it stars Robert Pattinson, Merritt Wever, Skyler Gisondo, Phoebe Bridgers, Matthew Maher and Bokeem Woodbine.
