“Katliņpauris” is a puppet theatre performance in Riga at the Latvian Puppet Theatre, running from 20 November 2026 to 2 February 2027. It tells the story of Harijs Katliņš, who wears a pot on his head for reasons unknown. Local children call him Katliņpauris and throw stones at him, while a group of pranksters decides to steal his most precious possession — the pot. The production invites audiences to reflect on empathy, understanding people who are different and friendship formed through shared adventures. The creative team includes director and playwright Edgars Niklasons, artist Evita Bēta and composer Kaspars Niklasons. Recommended for children and families.
