Izstāde "Sentimentālās vērtības. Brants un Vorkale" is an art exhibition in Riga at the Riga Art Nouveau Centre, Alberta iela 12, on 15 October 2026. It brings together porcelain and fine-art works by two artists, Inese Brants and Irīna Vorkale, inspired by Art Nouveau heritage and family values. Their distinct artistic languages meet through an interest in ornament, the beauty of materials, fashion and handicrafts, creating a story about women, beauty and the marks of time. Inese Brants presents coffee and tea sets, plates and jugs featuring blue and red embroidery motifs fused into porcelain glaze. Painter Irīna Vorkale reflects on women’s lives, fashion, sewing and handicraft traditions, drawing inspiration from her grandmother Elza Kundziņa’s black lacquered Singer sewing machine with a gold inscription.
