Izstāde “Pētera kosmiskie ceļojumi” is an art exhibition taking place on 3 June 2027 as part of an exhibition cycle organised by the Latvian Centre for Contemporary Ceramics in cooperation with the Rothko Museum. The cycle is dedicated to the 95th anniversary of ceramicist Pēteris Martinsons. The second exhibition presents the artist’s porcelain works from the collection of the Riga Porcelain Museum, including “Rockets”, “Planets” and “Interplanetary Stations”, created in the early 1980s. The objects reflect Martinsons’ playful freedom, bold stylisation of form and interest in humanity’s place in the cosmos.
