Gata Šļūkas karikatūru izstāde is an exhibition at the Culinary Heritage Centre “Šmakovka”, opening on 31 March 2027 at 17:00. At Rīgas iela 22A, visitors can explore cartoons that portray a range of topical social issues through humour, irony and a sharp perspective. The exhibition brings together works on unrelated subjects, revealing the artist’s versatility and distinctive creative style. Gatis Šļūka has been creating cartoons for the newspaper “Latvijas Avīze” for 28 years, working with both digital and traditional drawing tools. He has also published four cartoon books. The exhibition is on view until 31 August. Admission to the opening is free; on other days, the institution’s fee schedule applies.
