The play “Gangsteromīte” is a puppet theatre production at the Small Hall of the Latvian Puppet Theatre in Riga, running from 10 October to 14 November 2026. The show is based on the popular novel by David Walliams and tells the story of 11-year-old Ben and his mysterious grandmother using life-sized puppets for a unique visual experience. The creative team features director Edgars Niklasons, dramaturge Lūks Džozefs Velšs, and puppet designer Evita Bēta. The cast includes Miķelis Žideļūns (Grandmother), Elīna Bojarkina (Ben), and Baiba Vanaga (Mother). Suitable for families with children. Standard puppet theatre visitor rules apply.
