Fotogrāfes Intas Rukas izstāde “Lauku ļaudis” is a photography exhibition in Jūrmala at Jūrmalas Kultūrtelpas un vides dizaina centrs, Pils iela 1, from 19 November 2026 to 30 January 2027. The exhibition presents 32 portraits from the cycle “Mani lauku ļaudis”, created over more than twenty years and begun in the Balvi region in the early 1980s. Inta Ruka photographed people in their everyday surroundings, returning to her subjects over the years and listening to their life stories. Her direct, unembellished and respectful approach shows people in their homes and courtyards, alongside objects that bear witness to their lives and era. Some works are being shown in Latvia for the first time. Open Tuesday–Friday 11:00–18:00 and Saturday 11:00–16:00; closed Sunday and Monday. Admission is free.
