"DIVPADSMIT KRĒSLI - tiešsaistes izrāde" is an online theatre performance taking place on 30 December 2026. Based on the novel by Ilya Ilf and Yevgeny Petrov, this production explores the quest for hidden treasures and presents layers of Jewish culture, Odessa folklore, and Soviet-era metaphor. Central characters Ostap Bender and Kisa, well-known from popular culture, are reinterpreted on stage in this bold adaptation. Directed and designed by Alvis Hermanis, with costumes by Kristīne Jurjāne, the cast features Andris Keišs, Kaspars Znotiņš, Ģirts Krūmiņš, Baiba Broka, Guna Zariņa, among others.
