The children’s performance “Bruņinieks, kuram sāpēja zobi” takes place in Riga at the Small Hall of Pārdaugavas Kultūras apvienības Kultūras centrs “Imanta” on 8 November 2026. The Latvian Puppet Theatre production follows a knight who eats too many sweets and is suddenly faced with toothache. To overcome this unusual challenge and prove his heroism, he must rely on courage, ingenuity and perseverance. The director and playwright is Edgars Kaufelds, with scenography by Rūta Briede and music by Ilga Reizniece and Māris Muktupāvels. Baiba Vanaga and Artūrs Putniņš perform in the roles. The performance lasts 50 minutes, followed by a 20-minute conversation with the actors.
