Ā.Alunāna Jelgavas teātra izrāde “KATRU GAD’ NO JAUNA” is a comedy in Jelgava at Jelgavas Kultūras nams, running from 9 to 10 December 2026. Alan Ayckbourn’s play unfolds every three years at Christmas, but it is not really about Christmas. Instead, this bittersweet and recognisable story explores how people, whatever their role in life, keep waiting for a miracle that will change everything. The production is staged in Latvian for the first time. The cast includes Ilze Beķere, Santa Bērziņa, Amanda Siliņa, Ivars Mozga, Oskars Revics and Andrejs Vītoliņš. Directed by Dace Vilne, with set design by Ivars Pirvics. The production premiered in June 2026.
