Valsts svētki Daugavpilī 2026 is a national celebration programme in Daugavpils from 4 to 18 November 2026. The programme includes concerts, commemorative moments, patriotic activities and other events dedicated to Lāčplēsis Day and the anniversary of the proclamation of the Republic of Latvia. November is a time to honour the country’s freedom fighters, remember Latvia’s history and celebrate its independence. The events are organised by Daugavpils State City Municipality. Photography and filming will take place during the events for publicity and historical purposes.
