Lāčplēša diena is a commemorative event in Jūrmala at the monument to Captain P. Zolts in Kaugurciems on 11 November 2026. At 16:00, a remembrance service will take place at Sloka Evangelical Lutheran Church, with musician and singer Silvija Silava. From 17:00 to 17:30, participants will gather for the torchlight procession in the car park at 39a Raiņa Street, opposite the primary school of Jūrmala State Gymnasium. The procession starts at 17:30 and follows Raiņa Street, Captain Paulis Zolts Street and Kaugurciema Street. At 18:00, the remembrance ceremony at the monument will feature the musical programme “Dziesma kurs uguni” with Ģirts Alsters, Ieva Roze and Ainis Rudzītis.
