Tikšanās ar izstādes “Tekstilgrāmatas” autorēm is an art and creativity event in Sigulda at Sigulda County Library on 31 October 2026. The meeting begins at 13:00 and features authors Inguna Sīmansone, Baiba Zalcmane, Kristīne Meļņika, Ieva Lapiņa, Ilze Grīnberga and Anastasija Hodarenoka. The exhibition presents stories created by students and graduates of the Textile specialisation at the Art Academy of Latvia—stories that can be read, viewed and touched. Here, the textile book becomes a visual, material and spatial object, expanding the idea of a book in the context of contemporary art. The exhibition is on view at the library until 31 October. Address: Leona Paegles iela 3, Sigulda.
