Rīgas Ziemassvētku tirdziņš is a traditional Christmas market in Riga at Doma laukums, running from 27 November 2026 to 1 January 2027. Visitors can enjoy the aromas of mulled wine and winter treats, visit Santa’s house, meet elves and send a letter to Lapland. Fridays feature a DJ, Saturdays bring choirs and ensembles, and Sundays offer folk music. Local artisans present handmade goods, beeswax candles, gingerbread, wool socks and creative kits. Food vendors serve winter cocktails, street food and traditional Latvian cuisine. Opening hours are Mon–Thu 11:00–21:00, Fri–Sat 10:00–22:00 and Sun 10:00–21:00; holiday hours may differ.
