Jelgavas cietuma apskate is a two-hour walking tour in Jelgava at Jelgavas cietums, running from 30 September to 21 October 2026. Participants will go behind the prison walls with accompanying former employees who share personal memories and everyday stories from their time working there. The walk includes the prison grounds and its historic buildings, offering first-hand observations rather than a conventional historical overview. This is not a certified guide-led tour with a professional fact-based historical framework, but a personal account rooted in experience.
