Jelgavas cietuma apskate is a two-hour walk in Jelgava at Jelgavas cietums, taking place from 9 to 30 November 2026. Participants go behind the prison walls with accompanying former employees, who share personal memories and everyday stories about life behind these walls. The walk includes the prison grounds and its historic buildings. This is not a certified guide-led tour with a professional historical and factual framework, but a personal account based on first-hand experience.
