Līgatnes dabas takas is a nature trail attraction in Līgatne, at the single venue Līgatnes dabas takas, open year-round. The maintained routes in the forest landscape of Gauja National Park cover approximately 4–5 km and include different difficulty levels, soil and gravel surfaces, and sections with wooden steps. A visit usually takes 2–3 hours. Visitors can see Latvian wild animal species, walk through ravines and hills in the ancient Gauja valley, observe natural landscapes, and enjoy the sounds of forests and meadows. Winter opening hours are 10.00–16.00; in summer, 9.00–18.00 on weekdays and 9.00–19.00 on weekends and public holidays. Dogs and other pets are not allowed. Ask at the Information Centre about accessibility for people with reduced mobility and parents with prams.
