“Pērļoto mauču jeb pulsa sildītāju adīšana | Meistarklase” is a creative workshop in Daugavpils at Vienības nams on 21 November 2026. Led by craftswoman and master Lāsma Šembela, the workshop introduces participants to knitting beaded mauči, or wrist warmers, and teaches the basic knitting technique behind them. Participants will also learn how this technique can be applied in other handmade works, from historical traditions to the present day. Mauči are both practical, keeping the wrists warm, and decorative. Lāsma Šembela is known for her meticulous work and her ability to explain complex skills simply.
