Izrāde "Soliņš" is a theatre performance in Riga at the Mikhail Chekhov Riga Russian Theatre, running from 13 November to 9 December 2026. At 16 Kaļķu Street, Vera meets a man who feels confined by his biography on a summer evening. Their light flirtation develops into a sharp dialogue that reveals unexpected secrets and unanswered questions. This almost detective melodrama, with notes of tragicomedy, moves through anger and suffering towards tenderness and hope. Director Sergey Golomazov connects the story with Gogol’s theme of love for the “little man”. The performance is in Russian, with Latvian and English subtitles.
