The concert "LNSO, MOCARTS UN STRAVINSKIS" takes place at Rīgas Kongresu nams in Riga on 26 February 2027. The programme features works by composers from different eras and moods: Takashi Yoshimatsu's poetic piece "And Birds Are Still," Mozart's "Sinfonia concertante" for wind quartet, and Stravinsky's suite from the ballet "The Rite of Spring." Soloists include Egils Upatnieks (oboe), Mārtiņš Circenis (clarinet), Jānis Semjonovs (bassoon), and Artūrs Šults (French horn). The concert will be conducted by Nodoka Okisawa, principal conductor of the Kyoto Symphony Orchestra. The event, part of the 2027 Spring subscription, showcases both the individual soloists and orchestra. The concert starts at 19:00.
