The concert "Literatūras un mūzikas satikšanās" will take place at Ventspils concert hall LATVIJA in Ventspils on 17 October 2026. The programme features Pēteris Butāns' cycle "Six Songs with Poetry by Fričis Bārda" and the Carmen Suite by Georges Bizet / Rodion Shchedrin. Performers include accordionist Inita Āboliņa, pianist Zane Volberga, violinist Gidons Grīnbergs, double bassist Ivars Ozols, percussionists Guntars Freibergs, Pāvels Ginters, Reinis Tomiņš, Edgars Zaurs, and Kristiāns Lindenblats, as well as Ventspils Chamber Orchestra and the mixed choir "Ventspils". The evening will be hosted by musicologist Liene Jakovļeva. The concert is held in Latvian.
