Liepājas teātra viesizrāde - DEJU NĀCIJA is a coming-of-age drama presented at Mihails Chekhov Riga Russian Theatre, Main Hall, in Riga on 4 November 2026. The play focuses on a group of girls aged 11 to 13 in a dance troupe driven by ambition, friendship, and passion as they prepare for regional competitions. Through dance, their dreams, goals, and fears are revealed as each step takes them closer to self-discovery and questions the cost of success. Directed by Paula Pļavniece, with performances by Everita Pjata-Gertnere, Inese Kučinska, Anda Albuže, among others. Scenography by Kristaps Kramiņš, costumes by Marija Rozīte–Vītola, choreography by Kristīne Brīniņa, music by Edgars Mākens, lighting by Niks Cipruss. The performance invites the audience to reflect on the world created for the younger generation.
