“LENESONS UN LATVIJA”
LENESONS UN LATVIJA is a musical concert performance in Riga at Rīgas Kongresu nams on 14 November 2026. LeNeSOns and friends take the audience on a musical journey across Latvia, exploring the country’s history, important events and the people who helped shape it. The programme features music exclusively by Latvian composers, including Andrejs Jurjāns, Jāzeps Vītols, Ādolfs Skulte, Romualds Kalsons, Romualds Grīnblats, Imants Kalniņš, Jānis Ķepītis, Tālivaldis Ķeniņš and Pēteris Plakidis. The performers are Anastasija Džordževiča, Agris Nātre and Artūrs Putniņš; Paula Pļavniece directs, Klāvs Mellis is the dramaturg, Justīne Jasjukeviča is the artist and Artūrs Plaudis conducts. The event is suitable for children aged 5–11, while younger listeners are also welcome at parents’ discretion. The performance has two parts with an interval and lasts up to 1 hour 30 minutes. The café at the venue opens one hour before the concert and during the interval.
