KINO /ES DOMĀJU PAR KAĶI/

KINO /ES DOMĀJU PAR KAĶI/ is a documentary film in Cēsis at Koncertzāle CĒSIS on 9 November 2026. Directed by Laila Pakalniņa, the film runs for 1 hour and 25 minutes. Its idea was found beside a rubbish bin: a discarded bag containing 36 exposed rolls of photographic film. The images preserved on them lead to the story of Anton, his son Raitis and a camera used to photograph everyday life, relatives, friends, chickens and motor races. Where the photographs leave gaps, the filmmakers imagine what might have been there.
