KINO /CEĻŠ NEKAD NEBEIDZAS/ is a documentary biographical adventure drama in Cēsis at Koncertzāle CĒSIS on 16 November 2026. The film tells the story of legendary Latvian mountaineer Teodors Ķirsis (1942–2003), who sought to reach the world’s highest peaks with the newly restored Latvian flag in his hands and became one of the most prominent symbols of Latvia after it regained independence. The film runs for 1 hour 28 minutes. It is in Latvian, Russian and English, with English subtitles and Latvian subtitles where foreign languages are spoken. Directed by Viktors Buda; featuring Teodors Ķirsis, Imants Zauls, Ilgvars Pauls and Juris Ulmanis.
