“KĀDA ZVEJNIEKA STĀSTS - mūzikas un dejas izrāde” is an original music and dance performance in Zvejniekciems, at Saulkrastu pludmale pie Skultes ostas mola, on 10 July 2027. It tells a story about coastal fishermen, people and the sea, knowledge passed down through generations, and belonging to one’s shore. Original dramaturgy by Rasa Bugavičute-Pēce combines with new works by composers Uģis Prauliņš, Kristaps Krievkalns and Mārtiņš Miļevskis, brought to life through Jānis Purviņš’s choreography. Actor Vilis Daudziņš is the narrator. The performance features Saulkrastu koris ANIMA, MARE BALTICUM ORCHESTRA, soloist Asnate Rancāne and Rīgas TDA LĪGO. Its musical language is symfofolk, combining classical music with folkloric and traditional music elements. The seashore itself becomes part of the story and atmosphere.
