JVLMA Kompozīcijas katedras studentu jaundarbu koncerts
JVLMA Kompozīcijas katedras studentu jaundarbu koncerts is an electronic music concert in Riga at the Latvian Academy of Music on 30 October 2026. It takes place as part of the conference “Folkloras frekvences: tradicionālā kultūra skaņu ainavās”. Nine Composition Department students of the Jāzeps Vītols Latvian Academy of Music have created new works based on recordings from Latvian folklore archives and folk-song melodies. The programme presents works by Kristiāns Patriks Krastiņš, Tabita Balode, Sintija Onužāne, Krišjānis Rudzāts, Kaspars Niklasons, Linda Kima, Andrea Scardigno, Jūlija Bondarenko and Monika Sokaite. The concert opens with introductory remarks by Krists Auznieks, head of the JVLMA Composition Department. Tickets are available only in advance.
