The concert performance of Johann Sebastian Bach's "Christmas Oratorio" will take place in Riga at the Torņakalns Lutheran Church on 30 December 2026. Conducted by Kaspars Putniņš, the soloists are soprano Katrīna Paula Felsberga, alto Doroteja Bīnerte, tenor Florian Sievers (Germany) and bass Rihards Millers, joined by the Latvian Radio Choir and chamber orchestra Sinfonietta Rīga. The programme includes parts 1, 3 and 4, presenting the Nativity story in a work that has become a cherished Christmas tradition in European churches. This concert brings the festive spirit together with Bach’s monumental music for the holiday season.
