Filma “Tumšā robeža” is a historical drama and action film at the courtyard of Ķekavas kultūras nams in Ķekava on 13 November 2026. Set in 1938, the story follows Baltais, an officer of Latvian counterintelligence sent on a secret mission to a border town. Disguised as journalist Ilmārs Blanks, he attempts to recover information important to national security and expose a Russian agent, while seeking the truth about the mysterious murder of the woman he loved. The film runs for 2 hours. It is in Latvian with English subtitles and recommended for audiences aged 12 and over. Directed by Andrejs Ēķis, it stars Jēkabs Reinis, Vilis Daudziņš, Kaspars Zvīgulis, Kaspars Znotiņš, Santa Breikša and others.
