Filma "Es domāju par kaķi" is a documentary feature film in Sigulda at Kultūras centrs SIGULDAS DEVONS on 4 November 2026. Directed and written by Laila Pakalniņa, the 83-minute cinematic poem grows from 36 exposed photographic film negatives found beside a rubbish container, dating from 1968–1978. The film imagines the life, feelings and thoughts of Anton, an unknown photographer, his son Raitis and the people captured in the images. The creative team includes cinematographer Gints Bērziņš, artist Juris Pakalniņš, sound designer Anrijs Krenbergs and editor Ieva Veiveryte. Cast: Andrejs Strokins, Ralfs Neifalts, Mikass Bučmis and Laila Gintere. Latvia, 2025. Suitable for audiences aged 12 and over.
