Diena bez auto is a cycling event in Liepāja on 19 September 2026 at the Liepāja City Council car park, Rožu iela 6. Registration starts at 11:00, and the approximately 16 km ride begins at 12:00 under police escort, leading from Liepāja to the “Ķīvītes” landfill in Grobiņa parish. At the finish, participants can enjoy soup together, join an educational tour led by SIA Liepājas RAS, take part in sports activities, visit a unique museum and engage in activities by the Ministry of Transport. Bring a reusable bowl and spoon; children and youth up to 17 must wear a helmet. Return journey is self-organized.
