ALFAS is a music theatre production in Riga at Dirty Deal teātris, running from 20 November 2026 to 3 February 2027. Inspired by real events in Jēkabpils in January 2011, this musical drama explores masculinity, heroism and decisiveness in Latvian society, as well as men’s roles and social expectations after the financial crisis. The creators are composer Edgars Raginskis, librettist Jānis Balodis and director Valters Sīlis. The production is performed in Latvian and contains gunshot sounds, strong language and photographs from LETA. Address: Talsu iela 1, Riga.
