The opening concert of the 26th International Bach Chamber Music Festival is a chamber music performance in Riga at LNVM Rīgas pils on 8 November 2026. The programme features Johann Sebastian Bach’s concertos for two, three, and four harpsichords with a string ensemble. Performers include musicians from Latvia, Estonia, and Finland: Saale Fischer, Ene Nael, Aina Kalnciema, Ieva Saliete, Gertrūda Krauksta, Aira Maria Lehtipuu, Marta Spārniņa, Pēteris Trasuns, Māra Botmane, and Toms Timofejevs. Several harpsichordists perform together, highlighting the rich variety of Bach’s harpsichord music.
