The performance collage "VERONIKA, ZILAIS PUTNS" will take place at Restorāns AKUSTIKA in Valmiera on 25 October 2026. This theatrical collage explores the life of artist and writer Veronika Janelsiņa, focusing on her experiences in California after the death of her husband, writer Anšlavs Eglītis. Built from memories, interviews, letters and documentary testimonies, the play invites the audience into Veronika’s emotional world as she longs for Latvia and maintains ties with art and the people around her. Special importance is given to artist Kazimirs Laurs, her friend and guardian angel. The performance reflects on memory, loneliness, faithfulness and hope. Cast: Laila Maria Saliņa and Ģirts Krūmiņš.
