The annual conference of Turaida Museum Reserve, “Eiropas dimensija Turaidā: no vietējā stāsta līdz starptautiskai sadarbībai”, takes place on 5 November 2026 at Turaida Museum Reserve in Sigulda. The conference explores Turaida’s European dimension, heritage research in a European context and its growing involvement in European heritage cooperation networks. The programme covers heritage research and management, historical evidence and stories, and Turaida’s place in the European cultural space. From 10:00 to 10:50, visitors may join a guided tour of the exhibitions “Turaidas pils septītais tornis” and “Astoņi gadsimti Turaidas pilī”. An educational interactive break introduces the exhibition and activity “Astainie līdzgaitnieki. Animālijas Teodora Zaļkalna daiļradē”. The conference runs from 11:00 to 16:00.
