“Trīs sivēntiņi un vilks” is a puppet theatre production in Riga at the Small Hall of the Latvian Puppet Theatre, running from 4 October 2026 to 24 January 2027. The production brings to life the familiar story of three pig brothers—two carefree and one thoughtful—alongside the ill-tempered wolf and the fox. The audience can discover how marionettes work: puppets suspended on long strings, using a technique regarded as the most complex among puppet forms. The creative team includes director Vija Blūzma, artist Gedimins Kotello, composer Uģis Vītiņš and dramaturg Irina Grindenko. The cast features Santa Didžus, Baiba Vanaga, Dana Avotiņa-Lāce, Miķelis Žideļūns and Anrijs Sirmais. The production has been translated into Latvian. Address: Kr. Barona 16/18, Riga.
