Tiešsaistes lekcija "Reliģiju vēsture. Kristietība: no pirmajiem pravietojumiem" is an educational online lecture taking place via ZOOM live on 13 October 2026. The lecture explores how Christianity emerged and why the new faith spread rapidly throughout the Roman Empire. It covers the prophecies of the Old Testament, the New Testament, the Saviour and his disciples, the mission of the apostle Paul, and the spread of Christianity among non-Jews. The programme also looks at the first Christian communities, persecutions, early heresies, and how the faith survived the harshest persecutions of the first centuries.
