“Vēstule draudzenei” is a literary reading event in Rīga at RAA SPACE on 5 November 2026. Patrīcija M. Keiša and Marija Luīze Meļķe will read their collaborative project aloud for the first time. The project makes room for different forms of writing, including essay sketches, poems, diary entries and other experiments. Its texts explore the freedom to write without turning every thought into formal journalism, as well as the warm space created by friendship. Marija Luīze Meļķe is a poet and actor who also sometimes draws, while Patrīcija M. Keiša is a writer and artist who dances. The event starts at 18:00 and takes place in Latvian.
