TDA “Teiksma” 80 gadu jubilejas koncerts “Teiksmas DNS. Laikmeta straumētāji.” is a dance concert in Riga at Ķīpsalas halle on 5 December 2026. Celebrating the ensemble’s 80th anniversary, the concert explores the heritage, searches, generations of dancers and creative spirit that have shaped “Teiksma” over eight decades. The past meets the present, archival moments meet live movement, and the ensemble’s long experience meets the dancers continuing its story today. Jānis Ērglis’s artistic vision, Sandis Kalniņš’s direction and Kalvis Rudzītis’s video materials create a space where time briefly stops moving in only one direction. Jānis Ērglis is the artistic director, Sandis Kalniņš the director, and “BT 1 Music” the producer.
