Tautas deju koncerts “Sapīties, savi(j)ties” is a folk dance concert in Rīga at Rīgas Latviešu Biedrības nams on 28 November 2026. Dancers from different generations will come together on stage, exploring the joy of meeting and being together. The programme features the groups “Vija”, “Senvija”, “Lecam pa vecam”, “Rakstā”, “Viducis”, “Čūskas”, “Dižbramaņi”, the children’s group “Apodzēni” and “Ābecītis”. A Latvian braid is the concert’s central symbol, linking the movements and creating changing patterns. The programme reflects stories of encounters and relationships, where tradition meets the present. Rīgas Latviešu biedrība will donate 12% of concert revenue to support Ukraine. The concert may be filmed and photographed for later event publicity.
