“SVEŠĀ ĀDA” is an ironic drama play in Liepāja at the LIELAIS DZINTARS concert hall from 5 November 2026 to 21 January 2027. Based on Dace Rukšāne’s novel “Krieva āda”, the production explores the complicated relationship between a mother and daughter in postwar Liepāja, as well as a woman’s longing for love and fulfilled dreams. The cast includes Inese Kučinska, Agnija Dreimane and Kārlis Artejevs. The production has been nominated for the Spēlmaņu nakts award in the Actress of the Year category. The play is performed in Latvian. One hour before the show, the “Čello” bar opens on the concert hall’s 7th floor, with table reservations available.
