The play “STIPRAIS DZIMUMS” is a theatre production in Riga at Dirty Deal teātris, running from 28 November 2026 to 28 January 2027. This evening study of demographics follows three friends trying to find a solution to Latvia’s population decline, but their efforts become a complicated test of friendship. Behind the serious questions, the men’s unspoken pain also comes to light. The script is by Matīss Gricmanis and the director is Toms Treinis. Stage design and costumes are by Reinis Suhanovs, with lighting by Reinis Zalte. The leading performers are Jānis Āmanis, Jurijs Djakonovs and Emīls Krūmiņš.
