Starptautiskā senioru diena Siguldas novadā is a senior-focused event taking place on 9 October 2026 at Siguldas pagasta Kultūras nams, Zinātnes iela 7, Sigulda. The first part features musician, storyteller and TV and radio personality Raitis Zapackis with a concert of Maestro Raimonds Pauls’ music, combining familiar melodies with stories, witty anecdotes and an imitation of the Maestro’s voice. After the concert, the hall will become a ballroom with tables, conversation, socialising and dancing. Seniors are invited to register for the ball through their community senior coordinator and bring homemade refreshments. Transport will be provided; contact the coordinator in advance about routes and registration.
