Senioru svētki “Krellēs stāsti, putrā danči” is a senior citizens’ celebration at Mālpils Kultūras centrs in Mālpils on 10 October 2026. Starting at 14:00, the programme includes a concert dance party with the Bauska party ensemble “Ziņģes brāļi”, inviting guests to sing along and dance, as well as a special performance by the sport dance club “Zīle”, led by Iveta Zīle. This year’s theme, “Rotāsimies ar stāstu”, invites women to wear jewellery connected to a special memory and men to bring a tie, bow tie or decorative scarf with a story. Bukstiņputra, a traditional buckwheat dish, will also be part of the celebration. Seniors from across Sigulda Municipality are welcome, especially residents of Mālpils Parish. Admission is 5 euros, or 4 euros with an “S! card”.
