Seminārs “Dzimtas vēstures pētniecība” is an educational seminar in Sigulda at Siguldas pagasta Kultūras nams, Zinātnes iela 7, on 23 October 2026. From 15:00 to 18:30, participants will learn how to research their family history independently using archival documents and digital resources. The seminar introduces the digital resources of the Latvian National Archives and the National Library of Latvia, which can help explore ancestors’ places of residence, occupations and life stories. The seminar is organised by the Latvian National Archives in cooperation with Siguldas pagasta bibliotēka and Siguldas pagasta Kultūras nams.
