The mixed choir “Spārni” anniversary concert “Dziesma, kurā es esmu” takes place on 31 October 2026 at Siguldas pagasta Kultūras nams in Sigulda, at Zinātnes iela 7. Starting at 17:00, the choir, led by conductors Līga Ādamsone and Valters Veckaktiņš, will reflect on its journey since 1991, when the youth choir “Mārtiņbērni” developed a new sound and gradually became known as “Spārni”. The programme also includes lesser-known songs by Latvian composers. Former singers, choir friends, families and anyone curious about choral singing are especially welcome. The concert is open to all interested visitors.
