Puzuru meistarklase

Puzuru meistarklase is a creative workshop in Jūrmala at Aspazijas māja on 14 November 2026, from 11:00 to 15:00. Puzuri are traditional Latvian hanging decorations made from straw and other natural materials, associated with Winter Solstice traditions. Ineta Sproģe’s workshop introduces the making of a puzurs–ķists from straw, including the creation of a ķists sun motif. Agnija Saprovska’s workshop focuses on woven puzuri, made with wool yarn, weaving boards and straw. Participants will also work as a team while learning how to create these traditional decorations. The venue is at Zigfrīda Meierovica prospekts 20.
