Monoopera “Kad tad tev būs?” is an experimental opera performance at WILLA teātris in Riga, running from September 20 to October 3, 2026. The production explores societal pressure on women regarding key life decisions, particularly the question of having children. The main character is a pregnant woman, but the theme also reflects wider female experiences. The score by composer Žanete Spirka features an interplay between the woman's voice and electronic sounds, inviting reflection on inner voices versus external expectations. The creative team includes dramaturge Gunda Miķelsone, choreographer Anta Priedīte, and performer Tīna Gelnere-Bokanova. The performance is in Latvian.
